About Me
I started my woodworking journey over 20 years ago. I was watching every episode of The New Yankee Workshop with Norm Abram and got hooked. As Norm built everything from workbenches to furniture he carefully explained and demonstrated how he achieved the result he desired, and he seemed be really enjoying doing it.
From the moment I bought my first tools (the same ones Norm used of course) I knew why he was so at ease in his shop. There is something magical that happens when you work with wood. Time slows down. You begin to see and appreciate the beauty contained in the wood. The grain, the color, the markings, the “defects”, all give each piece a different appearance and attractiveness, even from the same tree.
Over the years I have crafted everything from kid’s toys to fine furniture. I rarely make more than one of the same project. I look for new challenges and new ways to show what the wood has to offer.
A few years ago I started wood turning, and that has added entirely new challenges and variety of projects. Bowls, vases, urns, and so much more!
My shop is in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I offer my creations on my Etsy store as well as here on my website. I accept commission work, so please send me an email if you have something you would like crafted and I will get back to you.
I Craft Nature’s Beauty.
